I have a 74 Firebird...
im getting my system put in at a local shop and they were saying the big pocket on the door panel really messes things up and to do a quality job thats gonna last and look good it would cost 500$ just to do all fiberglassing and detailing to make it look like it was stock...
i was just wondering if anyone in here has worked on any older firebirds (pre 78) or any car with this similar problem.. if so.. what did you end up doing? i already thought about building kick panels but on the drivers side the e-brake is in the way.. most people just get two 4" speakers and put them in the middle and thats their front sound.. obviously for a music enthusiast thats not gonna cut it.. i just dont want to spend 500$ on the enclosure for my front speakers...

and the speakers im looking to put up front is a 6" zapco component set...
