7 year old JL Just blew. Time for some new subs!

So yea, I am a little bummed it happened after smelling that toasty voicecoil but at the same time. I am slightly excited to be back on the market for subs after 7 years. They served me great and I have a great box for them. A JL power wedge dual chambered. Sealed. 2 12" box. 3 cubic ft. for Airspace all together

however I believe it is 1.5 cu ft. per a side(just guessing. I am not good with the Cu.Ft thing. lol) and I don't know what is the best subs for them, I just know that I can put at least W6s in there.

So show me some recommendations. I want something that hits nice and hard and will last a long time(5+ years). I have a little kenwood 450wattx1 RMS @ 4 ohm amp right now, but that will soon change hopefully, but money is tight.

Spending limited under $250 for 2 subs, but would like to go lower if I could.

Someone from this forum wants to sell me Directed studio 12" subs. I never heard of these subs but have seen the logo somewhere.

a pair of idq 12"s can be had for 300 off of ebay. they are the v2's though. very solid subs. im actually considering selling off my idmax subs and getting a pair

Some might disagree with me, but I would do some P3's (p3d412) for $250. You can find some Ebay sometimes for even cheaper. They have good enough SQ IMO and that extra bump you're looking for. They sound good sealed and ported. Don't get those Directed!
