6W3s for mids?

So im planning on a custom console for 2 8w3s. Im wondering if i should i put a couple 6w3s in it as well just in a separate chamber for mids. My c2-650 component and c2-650x coaxials dont seem to have much mid and sub bass, theres some, but not much. Will i notice it, or will the 8w3s cover the sub and mid bass pretty well?

I think the 8w3s with your comp sets should be plenty midbass. In actuality, I would think the c2s would have decent midbass from my limited experience with them....are your doors sealed/ deadened?

I did some deadening I did not seal them. Maybe its my amp settings. I thought they were ok, but when I back from vacation I'll check.I also downloaded a couple test CDs so I can really listen and see where they are at. It's a little tough for me to tell with regular music. I also have a 7 band eq on my head unit that I have not played with either.... Gee now it just sounds like I have some tuning to do

seal those doors. the difference will be day and night. I know from experience.

using deadened wood or sheet metal to cover the holes in the metal door frame. Also put the speaker on a baffle to decouple it from the door. Look through the build logs. Keep_hope_alive did a build in a scion TC that demonstrates it very well.

WOW. played with the EQ, its an 8 band, 40 hz was way down. Plays much better now that i bumped it up a bit. Not gonna seal the doors, its some work for silverado doors, i am adding ccf and mlv though as soon as it arrives. Another guy did that on the gm-trucks forum and he was very satisfied.
