65 amp alternator handle an amp?

I have a 74 camaro with I believe an alternator that puts out 65 amps. I was wondering if this can support an amplifier like the kicker750? If not what do I need to do?

i wouldnt take a chance hurting the amp. you can surf ebay and find a 140-180amp alt for your car for under $200

What should I be looking at for the output of the new alt? Its not necessarily for the kicker750 I might also go with the kicker400. How many amps output will I need for the kicker400?

just add a battery from walmart in parallel with your amp in the trunk. $50 fix.

solo I have a trx450r. My family and I have 4 quads all together. I race in the WORCS series. U??

Just run an extra battery for the amp? wont that drain the battery after a while?

raptor. next quad is a 450r, i just wish they had reverse. i assumed u have ridden a 660r?

no i havent ridden one. There to top-heavy and to heavy in general for my type of riding. The new kawis 450s have reverse and they are a very nice bike!

yea, being in the east i do a lot 90% woods riding. is a lil topheavy, which is why i want a 450R. Lust trying to get comparisons from people who have ridden both to see what they think. plus the kawi doesn't have that honda quality. I have owned honda in the past, beat the sh*t outta them, and never broke

I had a 660r piped and jetted with a good intake, a 2003 special edition. I loved it. Then i upgraded to a raptor 700.. although it was so much better in the trails, the LOW LOW end torque was not their, it didn't feel like ur arms were going to rip off like my raptor did.. Boy oh boy then i re mapped and did a good exhaust and intake.. Jesus christ its so fast. My friend has a piped cr250f and i SMOKE him. I highly reccomend the 700r.. The 450's are nice.. I like them for the race track and the race track only though. For trails KTM polaris bikes and 700 raptor imo! good luck with what you do.

Get a 200 amp alternator its better and definitely worth it. IMO alternator before second battery.. I did a 150 amp alterantor with my optima red top and i cant get the lights to dim if i tried. but i also did the big 3
