61/2" Speaker Question

I purchased Sony 6 1/2" speakers for my 91' Saturn, as it turns out they call for 6 3/4" speakers. I bought them through eBay and can't return them. Question is, is there a adapter or spacer made to make these speakers work? Any info would be great. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, they are components, they are Sony Xplod XS-HL635's. But, I found from Crutchfield, a spacer/adapter they say will work. So I ordered them for $15 bucks a pair. So i'll give them a shot. Thanks for your time.

cool.. thats sounds neat... you might still wanna consider kick panels b/c they are much better for sound imaging. anyow good luck whichever way you go //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.

Speaker ratings are generally a thermal/mechanical limitation of the drivers. Music is dynamic, not continuous. During quiet periods a song, you...
