600w at 4ohms Amp

I need a cheap amp. Is there a decent mono amp that will do 600watts at 4ohms for under $150?

Unless I'm mistaken, your basically asking for an amp that can do about 2000 watts at 1ohm and then running it at 4ohm to get about 500 to 600 watts (that's not going to be budget friendly at all, even if you go used).

If you don't care much about reliability or efficiency you might get away with a budget PPI or Soundstream amp

I don't think he's trying to make 2000 @ 1. Plenty of options for used class A/B amps that will make 500-600 @ 4.

600 watts @ 4ohms is probably overkill, may be just fine at 400-500. What about a Pioneer 9601 or Kenwood 9106? Not too much over my budget.

1000.1 is a nice amp as well. It would give you the power you are looking for and also allow you flexibility to change things up if you change your mind on subs down the road.

I decided to order the Powerrbass ASA800.2X. It was in stock at Sonic and the price seemed good.
