600 rms sub and 800 rms amp

Hey fellas,I have a RE SE 15" 600 rms,and I just bought a US amps xt2000d.The amp is suppose to be 1k rms but I read alot of people saying it's overrated and only does about 800 rms,my question is will this amp kill this sub?I talk with the guy from TEAMPSI,and he said he could recone and build a RE SExxx,is it worth doing that,or should I just sell the sub and get something that handles more rms?

you can use the amp with the sub fine, just be very careful setting your gain.

It will be fine, just watch ur gains a bit. I ran an SE once on 900watts and it did fine...

I run a pair of DC Level 3's on about 900 ea. and they love it...just have to baby em a bit...
