shit i really like that setup.. love the enclosure with those subs.. and a lot of people tell me kicker subs are the way to go.

Eh, I had Kicker Comps before my Memphis, I wouldn't say they are BETTER by any means...their good subs, and it's likely you will get good performance from a manufacturer made box.

I guess their also so cliche...

Either setup is good.

I would go memphis though.

umm wtf no i wouldnt pay 300 for cvrs in a box.

op hit up ur local stereo shop they sell cvrs and comps for cheap. the one buy me sells comps for $50nib and cvrs $75 nib both 12"

or buy off here and save a ton of money

I would also go with the memphis package and that eclipse deck. You could have everything you want and be $100.00 under your budget.

you can get a box real cheap go to home depot pay about 35 max for a sheet of 3/4 mdf and start cutting.

hmm actually now that i look.. that head unit is much better than the pioneer i was looking at.. thats a 5v deck.. the pioneer was only a 2.2.. thats a great deal for that deck

Ive had a much better experience with my eclipse than the pioneers Ive owned. personally I think its worth the couple extra bucks

my first system was a pair of comp vr's and i loved them they got pretty loud for 700watts. You can get them for hella cheap on eBay, as well as the 1208d.

Alot ppl hate on kicker, jl, mtx (basically most major brands), but dont count out those CVR's. if your goal is SPL and you listen to alot of rap get the CVRs. If you want SQ and listen to rock and what not then go wit the memphis.

ya i listen to very few rap songs.. mainly metal/rock
