$600-700 Budget Need help

I am looking for a set of speakers to upgrade to match my JL W7 it is in a 2002 Chevy Silverado Standard Cab (the w7 is in a mdf box fiberglass wrapped and replaces the center console and is in a back firing position is not installed yet but that is how it will be when I do install it I am just trying to get everything together so it's not just a half *** install) which would mean I want to upgrade my Door 6-3/4" speakers and my rear pillar 4x6" speakers and I want to try to keep all four speakers as a whole under 600-700 dollars and I am going for more of sq with these than just ear piercing noise I didn't know if it would be better to just build some type of enclosure to go behind the seats and buy some 6.5" speakers or if there was a decent set of 4X6" speakers out there. the budget is only for the speakers and would not include the box if need be or the amp to power these if need be. any suggestions?

These are a few I would look into myself .. As for the rear 4x6 speakers I wouldnt really get anything too special .. A simple upgrade to a good coaxial ran off the H/U will be just fine for the rear fill .

Well i don't really want to spend 600 at one time and I can't find the crossover from the component set for the CDT Audio EuroSport 6.5 do you know where I could just piece these together individually like 1st the mids then the tweeters then the crossover or however

You can piece them together on CDT's website. Or PM Exige on here to get a better deal on individual components.

i really am not a fan of CDT xovers or tweeters..

check out rainbow, dynaudio, and if you go active DIY, there are endless possibilities..

Personally I'd go with Alpine Type X SPX-17PRO's. You can get them for something like $200 now days, then you can pick up a JL 300/2v2 to power them, they'll keep up with that w7 and the tweeters on this set sound better than Rainbow Ref series IMO!

You can get the refs for 200.00 but no way in hellls can you get the pro's for 200.00,more like 375.00.

CDT's site is being updated shortly. It should be much more organized and informative. In the meantime, the ES-62i is the current CDT 6.5" EuroSport set. The crossover used is the 560i, and the tweeters are DRT-26's (your option of silk, aluminum or titanium). The midrange driver is the ES-6. Set comes with a 10-year warranty. Don't expect to spend $6-700 on it. All parts of the set are upgradeable to other mids, tweeters, or crossovers if you choose to do so. PM me if I can be of any more help.
