600@1 ohm and a bad trunk

well the 2 ID8's in a .55 sealed box in the cabin of the GTO is not cutting it anymore...it doesnt sound that good, turned up and it rattles everything because its inside the plastic panel. I dont use the trunk anyway because of the the way the amp is mounted in there...

so with 600 watts @ 1 ohm what is the best i can do...

a single DD 10" maybe

the gas tank is behind the rear seats so its gonna take a little oomph to get some sound in the cabin so im looking more towards SPL type setups...

opinions?

no..gonna go with a downfiring i think...my amp is mounted to the floor the the trunk and not moving...so i might raise it up some and down fire it.

a 10"/12" Fi SSD would do pretty well off of that power...(assuming you dont want to go bigger with a 15/18)

anyone got any other ideas...im gonna get rid of the 2 8's in the side panel at least till the BM comes out...and try to get as loud as possible off of 600 watts in the trunk....i want to keep tuning low though, no 50htz boxes or anything, maybe 38 or so if i go with DD....what do you guys think

what about a DD 1510 do they come in D2, or a config that could be wired to 1 ohm...maybe tuned in the 36-38 htz area
