60 watts RMS enough?

Getting ready to start ordering pieces for my 2002 Dakota and sort of put a plan together but would like some feedback. All will be running off last years Alpine HU which I have already.

I chose the JBL GTO 6 channel amp to run all 4 speakers and sub. This way I can put the sub under driver side rear seat and amp under pass side rear seat.

Channels 5 and 6 will be powering a single Elemental Designs 9Kv.2 sub in a Q-Logic enclosure (vehicle specific for rear of dakota)

Here's my problem, I wanted to run the Polk DB 6750's in the front and Polk 675's in the rear all powered by the JBL amp but I dont think 60 watts RMS will be sufficient to run the front components. It seems components are a little more power hungry so should I just go with the 675 coax in the front too?

If anyone has any suggestions for speakers good for 60w RMS, or a better way to set up my system, please let me know.

when looking at the specs for the speakers look at the sensitivity of the speaker in dbs the higher the number the more effisient the speaker is, the louder it will sound with less power. i havent looked at the polk db 6750 or any of them, but those values should help you compare wich speaker will be more efficient and requier less power to push them.

You do not have to run speakers full tilt to get satisfactory or more than satisfactory performance from them.

Additionally - even if you had a larger output amp the speakers wouldn't be seeing that big power constantly unless you plan on rolling with the volume cranked wide open 24/7 anyway.

Thx for the replies. Other than that, the setup looks ok?

PowerNaudio, the DB6750's are rated at 92 dB. FR is 35-22,000 HZ. There's actually not much to listen to around here, but I had a chance to hear the Infinty Reference 6010's which sounded pretty good off a HU although a little bright, so I'm relying off reviews at crutchfield, here and Sound Domain.

Thx
