Honestly, just get a good componet set. You only need one, with proper/clean power to it. Then spend the extra dough on deadening materials as that is what brings them alive, well the midbass anywhoo.
Also I have heard plenty of setups running mis-matched tweets. As long as they are the same type, example all aluminum, or silk, then I see no problems. My frined has Premier tweeters and MB Quarts and his sounds really good. He has the Quarts low on the crossover pts though, to match better as they are a little more harsh sounding.
