6 gauge power wire with 80 fuse on crunch powerone 2000 watt amp

Will 6 gauge wire do suffice on a 2000 watt class A/B amp and the wire has a 80 amp fuse on it will it do ok cuz I bought a car with 8-10 gauge and I'm jus now upgrading it

six should work but if you're going to go through all the pain of running wire just run 4gauge

Didn't have the money for 4 gauge and me runnin wire at nothin I tear my engine apart and pet it back together jus to pass time

You can get a decent complete 4 ga kit shipped for like $25 on ebay

I don't fool,with eBay and I'm jus askin if it will work till I get four gauge I'm not worried bout redoing my wire in a few weeks money is money and there always gonna be some u jus need to have the drive to get it

- Yes, I don't see why it wouldn't "work", but wiring means a LOT when it comes to amplifiers ;-) GL

Ok that's wat I was askin and my amp says 6 to .2 volts which way do I turn towards when tuning with a dmm cuz right now I'm pushin 26 volts out my amp and its sayin I'm at a .6 ohm load when my subs wired at a 1 ohm load

What Brand or type of wire is it? If its a welding type it should handle 80 amps fine.

Copper oxtgen free and do I disconnect my remote knob to get it to the 32 volts I need so I'm at a 1 ohm
