6 cubes enough for 18 XXX?!?!?

Ok, i've a BNIB 18 XXX on the way. I just designed a box that is 6.1 cubes net @30hz w/ 45.5 sq. in. of port! It'll be powered by an orion 2500d @1ohm. Think that's large enough of a box ported??? feedback, peace

Id put a 15" in 6^3's....We had a 18" in 12.2^3' with 175sq" of port and it sounded great IMHO. If it were me, Id go with more volume and more port.

I agree, more airspace, MUCH MORE port. Id give it at least 100 sq in.

Well, this is a daily box...i want it to be on the small side...as small as possible. So, think this would work well?!?! I'll be designing another box for competitions...peace

6 cubes should be ok...try for around 80-100 in of port, though.

Ok, so the final box design is 7.25cubes net @32hz. It'll have 70 sq. in. of port...that's the most i could must w/o having to bend the port around (which i'm VERY confused about all the correction factor and bullshit...basically i can't do it.) So, hopefully this should do well...going to make the cuts tomorrow...and hopefully build on saturday if all goes well. Peace
