6.5" mids that will play down to 60hz with authority at high volume

Forgive my ignorance, but that looks more like a woofer than a mid... and It shows frequency response of 100hz at the lowest?
Thats why I left a link with it, that way he can check it out... it was just the first mid-woofer that came to mind.

I'm sorry but your not going to get midrange to play subbass loud at high volumes and sound excellent..

even the highend mids are meant to be crossed around 80hz and properly done that's the lowest ya need to go even with a 24db octave slope..

the hat Stage VI 6.5s are the closest your gonna get whole still being able to get good midrange..

This. If you want more authority below 80hz on your mids consider doing an 8" woofer attached to the door

The trend of jumping into a thread and throwing out product suggestions is too hasty. Instead of spending money on different speakers there may be crucial installation changes that will satisfy the OP. Midbass needs a LOT of help in cars and when you choose to use doors as the enclosures you need to

1) control vibrations.

2) seal major holes

3) block the rear sound waves from interacting with the front sound waves

Let's see the OP answer the questions from princ3cmo and take it from there.
