i'm thinking of throwing some 6.5's into the rear deck of my accord sedan. i've pulled my subs out, so these would be handling bass duty //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

looking for something fairly cheap, sensitive (

is there a better option than the mach5's? (~$35 shipped)

maybe something from PE?

well, i need cheap

it's down to this (that i've found):

Mach5 6.5" Bass-mid : ~$50 shipped

Dayton Classic 6.5" : ~$36 shipped (on sale!)

BUT i have no idea which would perform better on bass duty //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

OK, just looked and it seems that the Dayton is 8 ohms //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

i have them in my home speakers (BR-1) and they have surprisingly good bass, but that's in a ported enclosure tuned to 38Hz)

looks like my only option is the mach5's at the moment. $50 shipped is about the max of my budget and i'll have 75x2 @ 4 ohms or 125Wx2 @ 2 ohms

seems about right for the mach5's, but i'm not sure how they'll do in IB. is it even going to be worth my time?

any other ideas would be appreciated.
