6.5" mid bass woofer recommendation

I can see his point about wanting mid bass, but it totally went over my head about crossing over. I guess I just thought it was implied passively.

as long as you can deal with the warped frames these should be ok....

why would these have a problem with warped frames/baskets?

yea, i know it wont be all that great without an amp. but i just don't want to add anything on the car. i just want to replace whats there, with no addition to parts. it's a street car that sees track duty on weekends. plus i just like to keep my things simple. i'm just trying to get the most bass out of the rear 6.5" speakers as possible off the headunit. i know i'm asking for a lot, but thats why i'm asking for advice.

budget is about $150.

those tang bands are 8ohm. i'd like to stay 4ohm if possible. i'll have to see if they have one in that config.

I know sonicelectronix.com is having a kicker comp buy one get one free deal for 100 dollars. not sure if thats for 6.5s though.

Don't let that change your decision. You don't have much power to begin with - the tang-bands fit the bill almost perfectly...
