What exact speakers do you have now? You would probably be better off buying a small amp.

Buy an amp for your current setup. With HU power you're not driving them to full performance.

I would but if you look at my other thread i am having problem right now with the LOC in my sister toyota prius, the speakers keeps switching on and off from the right side to the left and so on.

Gotta fix the issues before, find out why it's doing that. then worry about the upgrade later...

thats why i was just going to run new low power speakers off the HU and take the other ones and the amp out.

Gotta fix the issues before, find out why it's doing that. then worry about the upgrade later...

Don't take anything out yet, fix the problem first. otherwise you may just end up with the same problem.
