You running passive or active? This set is 2 ohm but a whole set for $100, definitely would be something i would try if I was in the market for such.

No need for components, these are just for mid bass. My system produces more than enough highs.
These speakers are for the passanger panel to replace the current kickers

The only shallow enough midbass that I can think of is the Timpano TPT-MB6 SLIM. I don’t have any hands on experience with them myself. I ran across them while trying to help my buddy spec out a stereo for his car.

Probably not huge midbass. Only has a 2.24 inch mounting depth.

I have eight of these going in the car. 2 per door. Great little midbass. Low Fs, good sensitivity, and you can cross them above 1k if needed.
