6 15" XXX sub's with no box!!!

WTF does he need us for then. If he can draft up a box idea with dimmensions that's all he needs right?
Use 225 square inches of port for all 6. And make the box's internal space after displacment 32ft^3.That's it...

umm i need to know whats the best box idea should i use!!! and about the port can some 1 give me the dimmensions+ the box dimmension baesed on that box idea( the 1 you thinke it's best or if you come up with 1) so i just start to cut the wood up ASAP!!! remamber i want it as loud as it can get!!!

Here is a rough draft of the box design. I recommend 1" MDF over .75" and a double baffle. Also if any bracing is used it will effect the volume of the box and tunning. And bracing will be a must!

With the space you have to work with I can design you a very nice sealed box that will get very loud and sound amazing. Also it will be a much better show box. Not much room to work with for ported.

You would have the port facing directly in to the cabin and the Cargo cover on the truck bed would need to be adjusted and sealed to deal with all of the vibrations 6 15's will create;)

wow thats alot of equipment....but u can fit all of that stuff in your avalanche

i dont know what to say at this point...other than the fact u will need 2 put stronger springs 2 hold up the extra few 100 pounds your adding

Ok..I have read all I need to read..seems people don't like his typing, his spelling, the fact (?) that he has money or his parents do. You rag about his decision to go with horns in the rear, to do surround sound or not, when all he asked was what kind of box should he go with.

I will help him out and give him the benefit of the doubt. First I notice he is from Jeddah, KSA, which I think is in Saudi Arabia. So his spelling and usage of english will be scratchy. Also since he is in Saudi, I would be willing to bet that maybe he does have money. For surround, he mentioned he wants video screens in the vehicle so that would justify the desire for surround. Horns, by design are not the easiest install out there, but once positioned right, it is hard for any component set to image as well. His amps appear capable to handle the power needed to generate some spl, and the subs are overkill yes, but why should that worry you?

I say the only box you need is to partition 3 boxes so that each 15 has its own airspace. Then all you need to do is trim it in for a smooth look.

I couldn't care less if your dad was the Sultan of Brunai...it sounds to me like you are getting quite the package. Good luck with it.

Will you read the thread again. Everything has been handled...

read it, but all the way up to this page, some of the others on this site were still giving him the scratchy ***. I hope he gets this thing going, then sends his pics to Andy, then comes back to the US for his MA in Pennsylvania, and all that.

I have noticed it getting handled, but this thread has burnt out it's welcome from those who have given him the most flack. Since I don't make boxes, I will not act like I know what I am talking about. Thanks for handling the situation. I hope he gets his box and we get to see it when it is finished.

btw...why is it so hard for people to think that if you are getting a big system, someone must be buying it for you?

If you read any of the thread, you'd realize that he's not in the US...and he's not a native speaker of English. Open mouth, insert foot //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Until I see pics of the six XXX's I'm still not entirely convinced, however...
x2 still waiting on pics of the xxx's
