500amps to much

For one no one makes a 500A alt.Two if they did it would have shit for out put at idle.Three your wasting your money buying an alt that big.Alts just don't compare to battery power.Yes you need a larger alt to charge multiple batts but nothing really over 250A.

Nt neccesairly.It depends on the vehicle,if its a big 350 or something like that no prob.A little 3.1l V6 maybe so.The point is its just impractical.No one makes an alt that big,only way its done is with dual alts.Not one big one:crazy:
