i honestly think we should secure our boarder in conjunction with a guest worker program as well as a way for the 11 million already here to gain citizenship...giving them some incentive to integrate into our society instead of remaining apart from it.
But the issue is trivial compared to the other issues we face as a nation. It infuriates me when i see issues that invoke visceral reactions like this, being used as a distraction from the major issues that are being handled so badly.

Ok well then get ready to pay 10x more for fruit and vegetables..you will also be paying more for lawncare (which will raises prices for every company that pays for lawncare)...Eating out will get more expensive because they will be paying americans american wages to wash your dishes..

We use their willingness to preform horrible jobs very cheaply for our benifit..without it certain things will cost more.

I think its bad...but only because it keeps them from integrating into our society..and i dont think harboring millions of people with no loyalties to the US within our boarders is a good thing.

We should give them the opportunity to eventually become responsible citizens.

How are illegals harming us, that's a long list, but basically financially. Sure they work for cheap but the cost of caring for them far out weights this.

Sure every empire ends, I just don't want to fall in the Dark AGES after this empire ends.. IF I live to see this one end..

A country like the USA needs to attract the BEST in the world, not millions of people with no goals or ambition other than to make money to send to their 200 kids because and I quote "all the good paying jobs are in America".

We have enough losers in this country we don't need an influx of them..

If we did lose the illegals SOMEONE/Some group, some day would invent something that can pic veggies, fruit, whatever..

If you listened to most professional economist you would see that they contribute a net gain.

What cost of caring for them are you referring to? I mean come on they pay taxes and the vast majority are excluded from receiving services...with the exception of emergency care in ER.

Think of just the consumption type taxes they pay...sales tax, gas tax, utility taxes...ect ect...

Then add in the federal income tax and social security taxes many pay...

I do not think they are a detriment to our economy in the least...

Now moving our factories into Mexico i think has a detrimental effect on the United states middle class...mexicans moving here to do the jobs none of us want to....not such a big deal....

But besides...the only reason i first posted in this thread because the issue isn't that important....its a smoke screen!!!
