5% tint and the law

I can honesty say I have never seen a car with 5% on the windshild although the new thing around here is 5% 1/4 up the windshield then 5% 1/2 the way down the windshield leaving about 4 inches to look out. I think its retarded but her to ones it own.

ive seen crap like that, IMO its hard becuase its confusing, some is clear, some is black, and with the sun shining through that little untinted part, it reflects off the 5%. ppl always say doesnt the sun reflect on your windshield, im like um sun doesnt come in my car lol...depending on the sun, its easier to drive with my windows up, and at night i roll with em up cuase headlights in my side mirriors (dont have a review) blind me and then when i look out my windhsield again its completely black for like 3 seconds, not cool....only time its hard is when its night and raining hard, ive had to pull over about 3 times already...

Everytime I get pulled over the Police meter my windows (a little meter with a slot in it that slides over the top of your window). So im stuck with keeping my windows legal...35 on the front roll up windows and since I have a truck I have a double layer of 5% on the back glass.

happens to me all the time, two "tickets" later, and i only have 35 on the front windows, 20 in the back. i guess legal in NY is 70%.

just go and talk to your eye doctor if ur good with him and ask for a tint excemption - - - i got that and no propblems since

with that in iowa u can have 35% on the front 2 windows when usually its suppose to be 70%

I have 5 % on every window except the windsheild, and I haven't had any problems with cops.

I get mine done at Pro Tint. They recently had an $89 special but I missed it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. There's also a place called Xtreme Auto Sound or something like that on Bardstown road i think. Regular cost at Pro Tint is $149.

Cops may be a little stricter in that side of town; I don't know. It's a little more redneck around here

ive been pulled over in a friends car and i believe he has 15%. the cops metered it and told him it was too dark and that was the end of it. no ticket or anything

Jordan's in Radcliff did my 5% tint for $100 .. I wasnt going to get my vette tinted there because I had heard other tint shops talk shit abot Jordans, and I really didnt care about my Jeep's tint all that much so I just took it there, and they did an excellent job....no complaints here.

They were pretty cool too, probably the best experience ive had at an audio shop in years, and they're a piss poor audio shop, lol... But they make gobs of money off of the dumbass army guys from fort knox who see chrome audiobahn speakers and buys them on that alone.

btw im in shively / prp like every day, im surprised you dont see me bumpn' around.
