.5 ohms or 2 ohm amp for best sound!

Should I go with a SAZ3000 @.5 ohms or a ZX2500 @ 2 ohms? I have 2 dual 2 ohm RE XXX's.

Is there a big difference in the current draw from either amp at above stated omage.

I have a 250amp alt planning to get 2 deka intimadators, now i have 2 duralast golds.

Any thoughts?

your damping will be way better at 2 ohms than at .5 ohms and the current draw will be less as well. but sundown amps are the better in my opinion. I love the kicker amp as well just not for their prices lolz.

Both are solid amps. Id say go with kicker just cause I HATE running amps at .5ohms

obviously, its putting out about 50% more power if you have the electrical

Wouldnt be MUCH louder. Probably like a .7-1.1DB difference.

Looks like the 3000d does 3200 or so according to the measurements at SSA.

The Kicker's what -- 2600-2700??

I would think only a mic would hear that.
