ya why dont you tell us what kind of amp it is and maybe someone has tried it before

the amps that ive run at .5 but werent reccommended are

directed 1500d

rf 301m

rf 200z2 or somethin

my friend runs his lanzar 1200d at .5

if its not listed to do power at that rating ussssually it wont run stable, at least not for durrations, that how it goes with most amps run hardder than thier ment to..... try it for a few min and constantly monitor the heat of the amp after running it hard for a few min, see how long it take for it to heat up, if you blow fuses, dont try it again........if it heats up badly in like 10 min then its not stable
