i plan on getting 2 xfl 1222 and was wonderin wat a decent .5 ohm stable amp would be round 250-450
0.5, why would you want to do that?i plan on getting 2 xfl 1222 and was wonderin wat a decent .5 ohm stable amp would be round 250-450
well as long as efficiency and amp life isn't a concern and you have a lot of money to dump into your electrical it's not a good idea especially for daily use, your best bet is find an amp that does what you need at it's higher impedance ratings it will run cooler and demand less current to do the same thing as a smaller amp at it's lowest impedance rating.idk jus wanted to know exploring options

what does that thing clamp at .5? Based on recommended fusing alone, even with the added 25% cushion on top of the 100a( or is it the 80a fusing recommended lower down the page??) fuse rating at the specified 13.8 volts, you are talking about a max output of 1725 watts rms, assuming 100% efficiency. Obviously overrated....and probably overpriced.
Never ran this model personally. I have seen a clamp on a mmats 4000.1 putting out 3147 at 2.2 ohms (rated 4000@1). Your recommendation is solid as well, just trying to give the guy options. The small footprint is a plus for many people.what does that thing clamp at .5? I knew it was a Mmats spec sheet, it was more of a troll....lol. I do not doubt the Mmats build quality one bit..hear too many good things about them.Never ran this model personally.
