.5 ohm stable Amp GOOD for daily use?

2ohm is good. Although a majority of the amps on the market put out there max RATED power at 1ohm although on those amps IE (RD audio, Sundown, Incriminator, American Bass, basically any zenon board amp can run .5 although its NOT reccomended. Only amp that I could see could be useful for you would be the Kicker ZX2500 which does 2500@2ohm

Ive got a MMATS 3500.05 and I used it for daily driving. I never had a problem, but its your car so go with what you like better. Ive got mine for sale btw

I ran my MM3000.1 at .25 daily for a couple weeks. Didnt break a sweat.
