.5 ohm stable Amp GOOD for daily use?

Are the subs Dual 2 ohm, or single 2 ohm?

If you have Two single 2 ohm subs, you can wire them to 1 ohm. If you have Two dual 2 ohm subs, I'd run two amps.

dude your amp is probably okay at .5ohm... I mean from what ive read they are good amps i dont have any exp with one but im pretty sure box rise would make your imp rise to above 1ohm wired to .5

Mmats do fine at 1/2 ohm. Buddy has ran his there ever since his were new with no problems and he has two different ones............cause he had 2 cars.

Also almx, why does he need to run two different amps if he is running D2's? I have 2 10" D2 subs and have a hifonics amp that puts out 1700rms at 2-ohm and it slams! No sense in getting two amps, just need to get the right config.

Lanzar makes .5 amps also, and they run just fine at that load.

find yourself an old school Kicker XS100 it will do 2000+ at .5 and is very clean class AB sound...

Stick with kicker run a zx2500.1 on them just get a better electrical going but its gonna be cleaner and you wont have to worry if your cooking your amp at .5ohm. This is a daily pounder try to stick at 1ohm and above. The 2500.1 is a hell of an amp. Im not sure your reasoning for wanting to run at .5ohm.

I want to run @ .5 ohms because I have 2- 15" 2ohm kicker L7's. Wired in parallel its a .5 ohm load.
