Have you guys ever had any trouble running your stuff at .5 ohms? some guy was telling me i was gonna fry my cvx's... but then he told my dad to get a powerbass system and pioneer HU's sucked so... what do you think?

There's nothing wrong with running at .5 ohm if ur Amplifier can do it. Most of the times the amplifier goes out and sometimes takes the subwoofers with them. I really doubt ur MRV-340 can run .5

.5 ohms is stupid for daily... it decreases the subs thermal power handling capacity significantlty due to increased current and decreased voltage. Simple ohms law and the concept that current is proportional to heat.

Lot of guys with Sundown amps running .5 daily with no problems. I run mine at

.75 with no issues or dimming. Just need decent electrical...
