i heard of 0/1, 0/2, 2ga, 4ga, etc. but never 5 gauge

is their such thing as 3ga, 6ga, etc?

Not that i know of, i think schosche just makes 5 ga for cheap walmart type install kits

yeah, I dont think you can buy it like on a roll, but it's what comes in thoes install kits. There is nothing fundamentally wrong with it, just smaller and stiffer than most 4ga

6 is common for battery cables.

Someone, somewhere, probably makes everything from 4/0 to 30+
