5 channel Memphis 1300 or high end 4 ch+1 mono

Ok heres what I'm working with

Headunit: Eclipse CD7000

Front stage: Seas Lotus Ref running on passives - Looking for at least 150w rms @ 4 ohms per side

Sub: IDQ 10 for now will be replaced by Si Mag 12 - 900w - 1000w rms @ 1ohm

I just sold my Helix 5 ch and initially I bought a Zapco DC360.4 to power the front comp and a seperate mono for the sub but due to unfortunate accident with the seller, I won't be getting that amp. The question is if I should try to find another high end 4 channel (Zapco,DLS,Arc) and a decent mono to power my system or should I just get a 5 channel Memphis Belle 1300 and call it a day? I know the memphis is just about the perfect amp for my need and I'm not a firm believer of "SQ amps" but seeing how some people are able tell the difference, will there any noticeable different if a Zapco or Memphis thats driving the Seas?

anyways i love matching amps. my vote would be either the following:

arc audio 4050xxk bridged to the lotus' getting about 200 per side. and then assuming the mag is d2, you can get a arc audio 2500xxk and bridged to 4 ohms getting 1000+.

get a JL 300/4 bridged again and a jl 1000/1 (in black btw //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif).

DLS makes a 5ch amp, its the A7.

If i had the cash id get one over the belle but since i dont id snatch up the belle.

They are incredibly small for how much power they have inside.

Zapco, DLS, Arc are mostlikely going cost you more if your going to match it all up.

The only downside to a five channel amp is that part of it goes down, the whole mess goes down.

Having said that, I'd still buy the Belle. That amp is slick.

Yeah, I like the belle too but is it going to be SQ eoungh? Assuming there is such thing. This is pretty much the only thing thats keeping me away from buying it, how does this amp compare to JL, ARC, ZAPCO, and DLS?

Not really true i had a real old infinity 5ch where the fith channel went.. god it was a good amp 2

to be honest, you probably won't hear much of an "sq" difference. usually when buying an amp, i go with the a realiable, reputable company and then get as much power as you can afford.

Belle is a great amp but DLS is better

Its less power and is much larger, its also 2x the price....yet i almost bought one

IMO, nothing can touch the belle in terms of power and size
