I'm needing a new 5 channel amp. Looking for one to run 500 watts to 2 ohm sub and 50-75 watts to front components. I like the Alpine PDX-V9 or Kicker IX1000.5 but they are a little out of my price range. Anyone have any experience or your thoughts on the Rockford Fosgate Punch P1000X5D. Also looking for one that's not going to take up a bunch of space and delivers clean sound. Thanks

If you can find an Ed9.5, Id grab that joker up.Whats the budget?Its kinda hard to find a 5ch amp with really good rms power to run a decent sub/pair of subs, without getting into spending some money.Have you looked at any US amps?

Budget is around $300 or lower. Found the RF for $255 (new) which seems pretty good. I will check out the other two you mentioned. Thanks

How would you compare the JBL to the RF I have listed?

I honestly cant,rate them, as I havent heard either of them..But I can say that I myself havent liked very many RF amps since the HD series,and some of the DSM,as for JBL..they have always been very well built amps,and great for SQ,over the years, and dependable,and are still JBL/Harmon Kardon,in which I still run some of the older amps such as the JBL GTQ 400/200,and recently the old GTS600,both still shelling out Clean Power. i believe that there was a vid of a test ran on the new mini RF amps,and ill see if I can find it for you
