5 channel amp for just mids / tweets?

Maybe look for a 6 channel instead, most 5 channels are with a sub channel.

Good point. Since I want the 5th channel for a center dash speaker will a 6 channel let you bridge L/R on 1 pair so that it gets equal sound?

I used to have an Audiobahn a6601t 6 channel, you could bridge the last pair, and turn down the gain to match, or only plug in 5 rca's and leave one channel unhooked. That amp still works great today, I owned it for 4 years, the last of the decent Audiobahn. I sold it to a buddy, I had no more use for it.
