I can see that..a thick 1/4" or better cardboard tube is pretty dang stout...looks good too. At a glance, i thought they were fiberglass resin.

at any budget. install determines how good it will be, not how much you spend on components. your time is free. materials are cheap.Maybe OP will learn something here....Get a little creative and anything is possible.

I always loved looking at old school car audio pics!ok. this prompted me to pull the scanner out, dig through my 3.5mm photo album, find the pics from my 1982 Malibu, and post something i've never put on the internet before...
