Im not going to get it metered because the local shop's meter is ridiculous. They claim 155 off of a sealed 15 T2 and 1000rms in a Camaro.

Maybe ported on the AC... But I doubt sealed unless their meter placment was wack.

I'm running 68.75 square inches of port for the 7 re8's I'm running and have zero port noise, prolly overkill but the port is about 2ft from my head.

He may have some port noise goin on but that far back in the vehicle butted up to the back of the vehicle maybe its not audible from the driver seat. I wish I had that luxory!

I hear none from the drivers seat, and none at low-levels with the hatch open. I'll turn it up later and take a vid and listen for noise then. As of now I hear NONE though.

and yes, they're 3x 2'' ID ports

Carefully throw a 32hz tone through it and see if you get any noise back there. Mine moves a stupid ton of air at tuning or just a bit below. For a cheap speaker these 8's are the shiz arent they?

Might want to sand the sharp edge offa those pvc pipes to, just for an easy 5 minute job that can help a little.

ay look it glue.... U kno what i think u read my mind. I was in class to day thinkin why nobody mounts there subs like that. But the amp placement is the only thing that I am unshure about. Besides that it looks great.

Listening to "Throw it up" by Lil John absolutely killed my Jeep. The back plastic piece that mounts to the hatch that the liscense plate mounts to was moving a good 1/4'' and is now loose. I have rattles that have never been there before. Rear windsheild wiper was bouncing, the roof was tossing coins, bass moved your clothes, etc. I was really beginning to love the setup.

And then... I went home to get in to my work clothes. About 1/2 mile away from work while listening to music at a low volume the bass stops, I looked down at my remote and see PROTECT lit up. Look in the rear view and looky there a cloud of smoke. Amp is FUBAR. I'm hoping I can get refunded by ikesound seeing that they sent me a refurb amp and I emailed them the day I got it telling them that. Off to a better amp I guess.

For $240 plus box materials I was thinking this setup is the shizzzzzzzz. Guess the Brutus is the weak link.
