I'm building a 4th order that I'd like to put a plexi window into. I was thinking about using a large rounded rectangle port out of the bottom half, below the window. I checked out the design.

Id take the entire box and do at LEAST double layered birch, and brace the inside with 2x4s or threaded rod. Then take the port, shrink it down to around 23in^ of port per cubic foot of ported, and then put it off to the drivers side.
