4th order friendly 10" sub

As I look, what specs should I be looking at that indicate that it may work in 4th order. Ive heard a coupld of times, if the sub works sealed it works in 4th order? Another forum said low Fs and high QTs?
Correct. FS 35 or under Qts .5 or greater should put you in the ballpark. Have you checked specs on Dayton subs on partsexpress? I'd guess they'd model pretty well.

Dayton Ultimax 10 works wonders in a 4th. Only thing is they are on back order until Sept 17th
The HO 10 D4 specs better than the HO 10 S4 as far as 4th goes, but the S4 should be just fine

I liked the looks of the daytons but the reviews dont seem good. All most every other review said they sent the subs back for defects or mechanical noise. Does Dayton have a QC issue on their subs?
