2.What specs does one look at to determine if a sub is good for a 4th order bandpass.

high qts and low ebp usually means the woofer is suited to a sealed box

What is EBP? QTS? I know that QTS is total speaker Q value but what do they both mean? Thanks

EBP is your efficiency bandwidth product...I don't know the science behind it but it's the Fs / Qes (which is ironic considering it's a "product" and not a "quotient"). Lower EBP's means the sub is better suited for sealed/4th. Higher means it's better suited for ported/6th. Course this is all just theory...you can't really determine what kind of box a sub will like by only looking at 2 out of the many available T/S params. I've seen people use subs that, on paper, looked like they would be terrible for 4th/6th order bp's but ended up working great. Really comes down to just testing it yourself.

I will test a couple to see which on sounds better usually I do because no matter how good a sub sounds I am always wondering if the other one would sound better. Thanks for the input.
