im building a 4th order but not sure on the port size im using 2 alpine type R 12"s
The ported chamber (subs facing the sealed chamber)
external dimensions are 16"(H) x 41"(W) x 19"(D) that dosent include the sealed chamber dimensions
i was gonna use 4 -- 4" x 6" areoports does this sound right?
or would a slot port be a better way to go?

I asked because I have a type r 12 laying around and thought of a 4th order. All my previous 4th orders had higher tuning to try and get bandwidth but some gain over sealed.

I’m going to stick with the 4th order bandpass for now and see if it can improve it. The bandpass actually plays 100 rebased songs good.
