4gauge already ran, upgrade to 0gauge?

Going from a single (now broken) Soundstream 800.5 to a JBL 600.1 and another amp (probably 2x100w or around there) for about 900w max and I'm wondering if it's worth upgrading to 0gauge wiring, which will cost about $75 total (wire\new fuse holder). I'd rather not, seeing how I'm poor as it is, and I do NOT plan on upgrading to anything larger.

Either way I'm going to need a distribution block, and if I go 4gauge, do they make 4gauge to 2x 4 gauge? I know Knu only sells 0gauge to 2x 4 gauge.

kid, you dont need to spend as much as you think you do.

contact MONTECARLO_97 through these forums, his name is dave, tell him i sent ya and you are looking for some 0awg, some crimps and your fuse accessories. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

If you stay under 1000watts RMS the 4gauge will be fine, use a 4g in 8g out distro block to connect the seperate amps, The 8gauge wire will work fine in short runs.

Do not expect to hook up a 1200 watt class D and a big 4channel without upgrades though.

Nah, never. If I ever went that high I would have a lot bigger problems than trying to re-run some wires //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
