ok so i have tons of 4 gauge wire and limited 1/0ga. so i am wondering would it be ok to run 4ga that will be less the 4ft from battery to amps?

well its kickers 4ga ofc wire. and i will have the runs to two kicker zx1000.1. how far is the furthest i could run it to be safe?

You will be fine to run it wherever in your truck... Good 4 gauge should handle 1200-1500 no problem...

The 4 gauge is fine for your run to each amp. You can look up a reference chart online that will tell you the max length for the watts you're looking to run. And I'm hoping you said four feet from the battery for the 2nd battery you're adding to support the amps.
