4awg enough?

Is 4ga power cable enough for 1000w rms? I will be running 2 amps. 1@1000w rms and 1@600w rms. Can someone suggest a good install kit fot this setup. Thanks.
well 4ga should be enough for the 1000w, but then you add 600w more so you are really running 1600w. therefore you need 1 run 1awg from batt. to a fused distro block with 1ga. input and 2 4ga outputs. then i would run a 1ga. ground to a non-fused distro block with 1ga. input 2 4ga. outputs.

Thanks. I will go this route.
