4AWG big enough for 900w total?

4 gauge will work, 0 gauge will work superior, that is also a fact. If the paying customer wants the best he can for his system, why starve it of power in the first place causing him to replace it later on? Do it right the first time dude. The right wire will stay with you from vehicle to vehicle.

I just don't agree those amps will be "starved for power" given thier output and the length of the run. Bigger wire will not hurt anything, but nothing will be gained by using it with those amps, now if more/bigger amps in the same car may occur in the future, larger wire may be a good idea with the future in mind...4 guage will be enough for now.
