Nah, some dude that talks all kinds of B/S at school said he is getting a '90's transam and dropping a "454 Hemi" in it. He was talkin about it all day, and I was like thought it was 426, but he just kept talkin about this 454 hemi. He lies bout everything tho.

He could be reffering to Hemi as using heads with a hemispherical combustion chamber. That is what Hemi is actually in reference to is the shape of the combustion chamber, it has the spark plug in the center.

only problem is being that "hemi" is just a phrase ocined by mopar due to the hemispeircal shape of the combustion chamber. Therefore a 454 "might" be a hemi I don't know since i know nothing about chevy powerplants.

there is no such thing as a 454 hemi; gm has never used a hemispherical head. maybe one out there if some rich guy had a custom block made.

but there is no way your friend would ever get one.
