You are running a jensen 4000d, with 4 gauge wiring, the gain turned all the way up, and then buying a HO alt from Napa?

I'm just assuming.

CS144 is an alternator case, not the output of the alternator... OP, if you find that you can fit a CS144 in your car, I have one rated to do 250 amps at 3k RPM, for super cheap...

Wow........at this thread. Get a bigger HO alternator, big battery front and back, and do the big 3. Simple.

im scared to put another batt in though because everyone says it will just gradually kill the alt.

i've been running the two battery set up on the same alt for over 3 years now with no problems or isolator and have no problems .............do the big three! .....you will see an improvement

i doubt you have 4k watts... you car should be dead with no electrical assistance by now
