My new DA7232 should be here this week. I know its not really 4000 watts. It does 1000 watts rms per channel.

I find it interesting that Bang and Olufsen were able to make such a powerful class D amplifier with such good specs. Its usually impossible to get these kind of numbers in a class D amplifier. Its not a big deal, its just intriguing.

OK here is the whole story. I live in Arizona right now but I used to live in Utah. I have been buying my car audio from a certain dealer in Utah for about 10 years now so he gives me real good deals. He was going to give me a brand new DA7232 for 999.00 with full warrantee. However I was searching on Ebay and found one with a current bid of 260.00. I have been buying Ebay for a couple years now and have a good system for not getting burned. Its really more common sense than anything. Anyway the final price was 400.00 bucks. So I save an as$ load of money.

I ran that amp for awhile to my 2 DA TDXs. No complaints here. Actually its still up for sale. Although when I replaced it with one of my 2500XXKs I didnt notice much of a power loss at all.

As for the price of $400,Im guessing you got a used one? I bought mine on dealer accomidation pricing and still wasnt that low.

Congrats....diesel amp...you should invest in a HO alternator if you have't already so you can see its full power. I know quite a few people that ran those ...

Do you really consider these amps right up there with rockfords soundstreams us amps mtx etc?
