next time you get an alarm, get a back up batter so they can't cut the wire. also buy or fabricate some hood locks.

I can see ur point on that, but the way that I'm gonna present my self to the police will be in a very proffesional manner. At my jobsite http://www.expeditors.com We all wear suit and tie's and make a good living working there so hopefully the polic can see that im not try to get some free stereo goods from 2 hispanics that drive a primer grey old with 13" daytons
What will happen if the girl that helped me out by calling me up and letting me know my car was getting jacked didnt actually talk to the police when the report was made. I did tell the officer her full name though and telephone info and also told the officer taking my report exactly what the girl told me.
Even though I'm 6'6" well built and my other buddys that would help with the situation were college football players we can still get shot but if they didnt have any guns tehy would be hella worried if they saw us coming at them.
Number 1) if you got a good alarm .. or even a decent alarm it should of gone off with them opening your hood. Also you should get a backup battery for you alarm. Thats another good idea.

I installed the thing myself and tested the hood pin and it for sure worked well. I just never heard my alarm go off for the few seconds that it did, but I know for sure it had to been going off. It was a Hornet umm the $200 dollar one, anyways I shoulda had a backup battery on the alarm like you said.
I was eventually going to shave my door handles and rear hatch, but I guess I need to get it done a lil sooner
Also I forgot to mention I have added Ace Security Film to all my windows except for one...

Dude wtf are you talking bout, If you need something done by the police, YOU MAKE sure you let them know about and you keep on there ***, and trust me they will get it done. If worst comes to worst you threating the police about going to there captain, OR notify the news station bout how un-helpfull the police are. THEY DO NOT to want to look bad so they will help you.
