Everyone who said that the police would not do anything are correct!

I just got done waiting for 1 1/2 hour's across the street from the salvage yard that the supsects vehicle was parked at and all the cop did after he arrived was just ask a few questions then gave me a brouchure that was mostly in spanish. He said since I don't have the full plate number and that 4 outta 6 numbers didnt match that he could not do anything. I then said well what about hte eye witness that can point out the guy and the fact that this is the exact same car!

Wish me luck in the future.... This guy is gonna pay!

I need some input very fast....

Ok so here is the situation. I had an amazing system in my Xtreme Blazer and everything single thing in it got jacked about a month ago outside of my work. I have not put anything back in yet which is a good thing because last Firday I was sitting inside my office and received a phone call, it was a female co-worker that was sitting in her car taking a nap, she said "come outside quick a car just pulled up next to yours and the passenger got out and was looking at your car". I ran outside as fast as I could ready to pound some *** with this guy I work with that's really ripped. The car must have seen the girl that called in the office because they were allready leaving my vehicle and pulling around the back of our building. I ran with my fellow co-worker around the front of the building to cut them off and at least try to get a plate number and good description.

It was a primer-grey ghetto 84 Olds with smal 13" dayton's and no window tint with two hispanic males wearing white tanktops. I almost got the plate all I could make out was a couple of the numbers ??7-??W.

So today at lunch I decided to go to Burker King for a a change and as I drive by this s-10/chevy salvage yard warhouse, waht do I see, but a primer-grey ghetto 84 Olds with smal 13" dayton's and no window tint. I flipped a U-Turn in front of like 3 cars that hinked at me and pulled up right next to it with my double limo tint up so no one could see inside. I then was thinking to myself what should I do call the cops first or just go in the building and ask them about the car. Since the plate had a 7 and a W in it I pretty much new it was the exact car that tried to jack me again. I called up a firend from work and had him meet me up at the salvage yard, we decided to go in the building I notify the manger of the situation in a professional matter. He then said yes this is an employee's car and his manager is in the next building over. At this point we decided it may be better to leave since we verified that the owner of the vehicle works there I decided he aint going anywere.

Ok so do I...

A. Call the Cops now and ask for there help even though they took 45 minutes to respond to my last call and didn't really help out much.

B. Wait till after work and get a couple guys together and then follow the owners of the vehicle home or wherever they go and confont them about the situation face to face?

C. You tell me what to do....

This last firday they did actually pop the handle and make entry to my vehicle they did just pull next to it get out and look at my truck. They did the break in in less then 45 secs at least too!

Wait a minute, start from the beginning why would someone take a nap in a car?

But seriously you hvae noithng on them to call the police. Okay so you call the police and say what?"yeah these guys that were looking in my car are here?", you gotta prove they did something. Looking in someones car isnt illegal. Even though I am sure they were the ones to steal your system and were looking for a 2nd jackpot. I think you cant do anything really unless you wanna confront them yourself.

Definitely call the police.

Handle it the proper way and the only people getting in trouble are the guys who stole your stuff (assuming you/the police can actually prove they did it. Pulling through a parking lot is hardly "beyond a reasonable doubt" evidence).

Try handling it yourself, and you're liable to get picked up on assault and battery charges or worse, end up getting shot or stabbed over some stupid stereo equipment (yes, it's "stupid" stereo equipment because it ain't worth risking your life over).

option b could get you:

A) in jail

B) beaten senseless

C) dead

D) Vindicated by beating some ***

Option A

A) they get caught, pay fines, spend a little time in jail

B) nothing but drama with the cops

I'd still go A... it's safer...

I forgot to mention the 2nd time they came back just last Friday, within 10 secs they popped my door handle and made entry into the vehicle. So they have a lil knowledge of how the door mechinism works. Kinda a coincedence that they work at a S-10 slaveage yard too.

Put a few boxes of audio stuff in your car, put up a hidden camera and catch the ***-wipes red-handed...I have the box my amp came in as a donation if your up for it.

Then yes you should call the police, if I was you I woul dhave called before touching the door handel, the police can dust it for prints. Its a rare that it would work because there are so many prints on an given door but it would have been worth a shot.

She was taking a nap because she is pregnant and is leaving work next week for fraternity leave. As I stated they were not looking in my car they actually popped the handle and made entry to my vehicle, I filed a poilce report too.
