So I'm puttin this post up for a friend. He's looking for a head unit / a pair of 6x9 and a 6.5/ one sub and an amp for the sub. 400$ for everything! New items would be preferred

Low budget for all that. Skip three 6x9s and get a good component set up front.

and will sound decent...... get at cha boy!!! budget build king son!!!!!

and if your not liking new, I know where to get the comps new, but from some one a lil cheaper, the prime is on here if you want used... exceleon ebay... if you can't find it 3013ps would work....

I agree although i got 6x9s if it came down I'd grab a second sub versus the 6x9s

better than many other subs in that price range, not really a spl sub but will get nasty.....

I can do a JVC HU, Infinity 5 channel, Kenwood 6.5s, Kenwood 6x9s, Polk 12, amp wiring for 400 shipped. The HU and amp don't have boxes. The HU is never used. Depending on the vehicle I might be able to do installation kit, harness, antenna adapter for a little extra.
