4 x 6 speakers

in the rear of my truck there are 4x6s taht I want to replace, the only thing is all the 4x6s I have seen are pretty crappy, so does anyone know of any QUALITY 4 x 6s that would do the job, I will be running a Alpine F340 amp to them so I am more concerned with qulaity than raw power...

dont use 4x6's...get some components. i had stock 4x6's in my door and replaced them with 5.25 components with a $5 adapter.

so would that be good if I had 5 1/4" components in the back as well as 6 1/2 components in the front... would that sound good? and should I buy all the comps from the same company to get the same "sound?"

When I say company I mean brand, i.e. alpine, sony, kenwood, pioneer...

yea it sound good with front and rear components, but all u would probably need is front components they would probably be plenty, so buy the front components and hook them up and then if u want more sound in the back get rear ones then, but i would get the same brand

What brand of front comps are you going to buy? Reason I ask is because I have a 01 Ext cab and I am going with some Infinity comps in the front and am going to use some Infinity plates in the back for rear fill. The plates are almost like componants anyway and are cheaper.

I was thinking infinity or alpine 6.5 comps in the front and some 4x6 infinty plates for the back...
